Fivetran needed connectors for sources without standard integrations, regional platforms specific to Asian markets, legacy systems that predated modern APIs, and niche applications with proprietary formats. Enterprise deals were stalling because customers couldn’t connect the sources they needed.

PepsiCo’s Patiala plant had a measurable problem: steam utilization in potato chip production was running at 1.08-1.12 KG/KG against a target of 1.02 KG/KG.
