The Challenge

The payment journeys Telco’s Consumer Business required customers to exit WhatsApp to complete transactions via browser or app. Creating friction, drop-off, and lost conversion from digital campaigns.

The Solution

The Telco partnered with ADA and Meta as the Alpha launch partner for Meta’s Webview Payment capability. The first deployment of its kind in Malaysia.

Enabling consumers to complete Prepaid reloads, Internet top-ups, and Postpaid bill payments entirely within WhatsApp via a native Webview interface connected to Telco’s payment gateway.
